You’ve checked out our website. You’ve read our Yelp reviews (the good, the bad, and the ugly). You’ve thought a lot about this and talked to friends. You’re FINALLY ready to get on the waxing table!

But you still don’t know what to expect. You find yourself wondering what you can expect from start to finish and what happens after your wax.

Never fear! We’re here to help! We’ll walk you through the whole thing. And you’ll be done before you know it. And we want to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible.

We’re going to try and tell you what to expect.

Wear something comfortable. Waxing, especially the first time, can make the skin a little sensitive. Wearing something loose and comfortable really helps the skin breathe after waxing. From your first wax, you may experience some discomfort and a little redness. This should disappear within 24 hours but many clients say the discomfort is gone almost immediately. Your skin will quickly adapt to a regular waxing routine and many of our clients just wear their normal clothes – jeans, leggins, tights, skirts. Veteran waxers pop in and out and never skip a beat during the day.

Relax! Maybe a glass of wine? We offer adult beverages for clients who feel they need a little liquid courage during their appointments.

Your waxer will escort you into the room and finish prepping the work area while you undress for the service. We don’t ask that you get entirely naked, just that you remove clothing over the area to be waxed. That definitely means undressing from the waist down for our famous Brazilian bikini wax! Don’t worry, you’re normal down there. We know, we’ve seen it all.

On the table! The wax will be warm, but not hot. Quick application, a few pulls. Some great conversation and probably even some laughter! Before you know it, you’re done. You’re getting dressed and it’s all over. You’re suddenly hair-free!

Your waxer will go over home-care with you to ensure you maintain that great wax. You’ll schedule your next appointment and go about your day. Surprisingly quick and easy!

Please read the following important COVID-19 information before you schedule your appointment:

•  Our lobby is closed until social distancing guidelines relax, so we ask that you arrive at the salon shortly before your appointment time and text us at 971-301-4854. Please wait outside or in your car until we text you that your waxer is ready to see you.

 

• If you have had a cough, fever, shortness of breath, or have been in contact with anyone with these symptoms or anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 3 days, we will need to reschedule. State guidelines require that we must wait to reschedule until any or all of the following requirements: 1) At least 72 hours after symptoms have resolved without any medication 2) At least 14 days after being in contact with someone with these symptoms and/or 3) At least 14 days after being in contact with a person with COVID-19.

• Per state guidelines, we are utilizing all required Personal Protective Equipment. We are adding a temporary $5 PPE fee for each appointment until this equipment is no longer required or necessary. While we always operate at the highest cleanliness standards, we are taking all necessary measures to maintain a safe and clean environment.

• We require each guest to wear a mask while in the salon. If you are receiving facial waxing, you can remove the mask just during that service and put it back on during any other non-facial waxing services. If you forget your mask or do not have one, we have masks available.

• Unless previously arranged, only clients with appointments will be allowed in the salon and only for their appointment time.
